Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer in-person or online therapy?

I offer both in-person therapy in New York City (1115 Broadway, Suite 1007) and online therapy for clients throughout New York and California. You can choose the option that feels most comfortable for you.

What issues do you focus on?

I work with a wide range of challenges. Many of my clients are adults navigating anxiety, depression trauma, neurodivergence-related struggles, creative and professional challenges, or relationship issues. My approach integrates psychodynamic, ACT, DBT, and somatic therapy techniques.

How much do therapy sessions cost?

My standard rate is $250 per 45-minute therapy session and $80 per ADHD Accountability Group session.

I offer a limited number of sliding scale slots. Please reach out if cost is a concern.

Do you take insurance?

I’m an out-of-network provider, which means you pay upfront and can request reimbursement from your insurance company. I provide a superbill to help with this process You can learn more on my Fees & Policies page.

What is your cancellation policy?

For individual and couples therapy, 48 hours’ notice is required. If you cancel late but can reschedule within the same week, there’s no charge. Otherwise, missed or late-cancelled sessions are billed at the full rate. Group payments are non-refundable. Learn more here >>

How long will I need to be in therapy?

The length of therapy varies for each person. Some clients benefit from short-term support (a few months), while others choose longer-term therapy. We’ll discuss your goals and check in regularly about your progress.

How do I know if you’re the right therapist for me?

The best way to find out is to schedule a free phone consultation. We’ll talk about what you’re looking for and whether my approach feels like a good fit for your needs.

Are sessions confidential?

What you share in therapy is confidential and protected by law, with a few legal exceptions (such as risk of harm to yourself or others). Additional information about this is available in your intake paperwork, and I’m happy to answer any questions you have about confidentiality.

Do you work with clients outside New York or California?

At this time, I am only able to work with clients physically located in New York or California, due to licensing regulations.

How do I schedule a therapy session?

I begin with a free 15-minute consultation call to answer your questions and make sure we’re a good fit. After the consultation, we can schedule your first therapy session if it feels right.
